Renovation - Jebsen Residence

This Georgian-Style home was a treasure found by our clients.
We were commissioned to design an interior makeover that would modernize the space while preserving the elegance and symmetry of this rare find.
The entire project was rooted in a soft colour palette. We used different materials and textures strategically, and applied them creatively to create depth and visual interest throughout the house.

Modern Bathroom with Farmhouse Flair

A master bathroom crying for help: for function and aesthetic. 

The highlight of this renovation was the custom double sink vanity. It featured a wall to wall linen cabinet made of a clear coated natural oak that tied the bright whites of the walls, colours in the shower, and soft blue of the entrance. 

We chose oil rubbed bronze hardware to complement the floor tiles and create a pop of contrast against the wall. 

It was amazing how much larger the bathroom feels with this wall to wall cabinet.

Heritage Powder Room

This heritage style home had a boring powder room that did not do justice to its beautiful architecture. 

Without undertaking a major renovation, we approached the challenges strategically. 

With a tall ceiling height, the room was grounded by adding painted wall moulding at the bottom.  

Wallpaper was installed at the upper part, including the ceiling, to create a welcoming airy feeling. 

Vintage brass fixtures complemented the look. 

Yaletown Gem

This project was a full renovation at a 1100 sq ft condo in downtown Vancouver. 

Our clients were pragmatic people that love simplicity and clean lines. 

There was need for additional storage that was not obvious and in the face. To achieve that, we designed a hidden cabinet in the living room that worked as a decorative wall panel. 

Bathrooms and kitchen were upgraded, and a neutral color palette used throughout to create a relaxing and inviting feel.

Bathroom Reno Star Pattern

This bathroom got an extreme make over. 

From the change in layout all the way to patterns and colors selected, our clients love their new guest bathroom.

The star wall created with the use of patterned tiles and the blue vanity are the real eyes catchers.

It was a great transformation that completely changed the function and look of this bathroom.

With busy lives and a newborn, this young couple needed a functional bathroom for their newly acquired property. 

An accent black wall in the shower was designed to create depth, playing with positive and negative space. 

A large wall niche was incorporated to allow for extra storage of toiletries.

For this Scandinavian inspired master bathroom, we kept a soft color palette throughout and incorporated texture in some areas. 

To elevate the shower, herringbone pattern was installed on the wall. A shower floor marble with darker pattern and grout complement the style.

Keeping in mind the demographics living at this strata residence, we approached this renovation with a balance between modernization and timelessness in mind. 

Using rectilinear geometric shapes, we were able to create a classic feature wall for the lobby that became a point of pride for the residents. 

For the flooring, we chose a carpet that resembles the look of natural stone. It was a perfect way to tie the exterior aesthetics of the building with the interiors, and is a remarkably elegant patterning for high traffic areas.

Our clients had an investment property that was going for sale. 

The approach was to design a space that would appreciate the property value. Our materials and finishes choices reflected that.

We were able to create a second bedroom out of the den. Kitchen and bathroom were upgraded. The unit was sold after a few weeks on the market.

Dark and dated. This bathroom did not reflect the brightness of this corner unit in Kitsilano.

Textures through materials were strategically applied to different walls creating a dynamic composition.

Refresh Senior's Residence

Our challenge in this project was to refresh the senior's home without causing much disruption to their daily lives. 

By refinishing the existing cabinets with architectural film, we were able to modernize the space bringing elegance and a timeless look.

The new meeting room received additional storage, new flooring and furniture.

At the restaurant, we created a breakfast bar that became the focal point for morning gatherings.

Residents were very happy with the results and proud to call the new space home.
